Sandi Aung Moe joined CESD as a research assistant in January 2016. Sandi has a master degree in Agricultural Economics and bachelor degree in Agriculture Science, focusing on Agribusiness Management, from Yezin Agricultural University. She is assisting the research activities of the Labor Market Reform Program.
S Kanayde is a Research Associate at the Center for Economic and Social Development (Myanmar), joining CESD in January 2015.
Mai Betty is an Administrative and Research Assistant at CESD, coordinating activities and interaction amongst research teams, administrators and government officials, assisting with administrative and logistical arrangements, and maintaining documentation. (more…)

Aung Hein is a Research Supervisor for CESD’s ‘Food security policy and rural development program‘. His current work includes leading policy advocacy, and research and capacity building initiatives that focus on improving agricultural productivity, agricultural product value chains, rural non-farm employment and livelihoods.
Aye Mya Thinzar is a Research Assistant at CESD with the Food Security Policy and Rural Development Program. Prior to joining CESD, she was a Project Assistant at E Guard Environmental Services, responsible for organizing stakeholder engagement meetings, conducting social surveys and supporting household surveys. Cindy Joelene is a research associate at CESD, focusing on issues related to Myanmar’s political and fiscal systems. Cindy has worked with the leadership team of CESD for many years, while under the Vahu Development Institute (VDI) in Bangkok where she worked as a political science and development researcher.
