CESD Research Associate, Cindy Joelene, shared information about CESD’s governance experience, research, publications and training sessions at the Local Governance Initiative and Network (LOGIN) General Assembly in Phnom Penh, Cambodia, in December 2015.
The assembly was attended by over 80 people, with representatives from LOGIN’s eleven member countries (Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Bhutan, Cambodia, India, Laos, Mongolia, Myanmar, Nepal, Pakistan and Philippines), Thailand, and the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC).
LOGIN is a regional network promoting knowledge exchange among institutions that work on strengthening decentralization and local governance in their respective countries. LOGIN stakeholders include representatives of elected local governments, training institutions, policy makers, non-governmental organisations and development partners.
