Dr Zaw Oo, CESD Executive Director, spoke of the need to learn from the experiences of other Asian economies when considering economic growth through intensive manufacturing strategies, investments in human capital and investments in natural resource industries.

Dr Zaw Oo was speaking with Andrew North, former BBC correspondent for South Asia, as part of a video series facilitated by JustJobs Network and the International Development Research Centre (IDRC). The video series features six leaders from across Asia, who provide their own insights and perspectives on the topic “The future of factory Asia”.
